Good bye TCC - Hello Refugium Tokyo!
Today is the day! Refugium Tokyo is finally going online!
We – formerly Tokyo Central Counseling LLC – have reinvented ourselves with new colors, a fresh design, and a brand-new name.
Refugium is a German word meaning a safe haven, a place of refuge. This is what we aim to be: A quiet, secure space for our clients in the heart of the big city.
After five years as Tokyo Central Counseling, and following our relocation from Ginza to Aoyama, we felt it was time for a refresh – a recalibration of our mission and identity.
And today, on “Kodomo no Hi” – Japan’s Children’s Day – we find it especially fitting to relaunch a counseling practice that, in many ways, works with our clients’ “inner child.”
We are deeply grateful for your trust and for the many meaningful hours shared at Tokyo Central Counseling, exploring existential and life-shaping themes.
Going forward, we are excited to continue this mission as Refugium Tokyo – expanding our support not only to individuals, but also to couples, groups, and organizations.
May we remain a small but essential puzzle piece in the broader effort to strengthen mental health awareness and support in Japan.
Welcome to our new name, our new look, and our renewed commitment.
