Refugium Tokyo welcomes Mr. Kevin Berna
Refugium Tokyo is pleased to announce that Mr. Kevin Berna, MSc, has joined our clinical team as a Clinical Psychologist.
Kevin completed his Master's degree in Clinical and Developmental Psychology at Heidelberg University, Germany, and has gained professional experience across Luxembourg, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Japan. Most recently, he provided counseling and psychotherapy to both international and Japanese clients in Tokyo, working within a multicultural clinical setting.
His therapeutic approach is integrative, combining Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while drawing on psychodynamic and person-centered principles where appropriate. His clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, behavioral addictions, personality disorders, and emotional regulation.
At Refugium Tokyo, Kevin will provide individual counseling and psychotherapy in English, German, French, and Luxembourgish, further strengthening our commitment to providing evidence-based, multilingual mental health support for Tokyo's international community.
